We took the train to a little village outside of Wels to spend the day with the wife and kids of a coworker of Ron's. They names are Klara, Mina, and Hedda. It must be very normal to build a house where you grew up and remain very close to your family. Like Regina in Germany, Klara had a house built right where she grew up. Her parents live behind her, her sister across the street, and her uncle is right next door. It's great because her kids play with their cousins so easily all day running between houses. I can't imagine what that would be like!
It's was really nice for Ash and Cosette to run around freely and not be cooped up so much like they are at times in Wels. Ash had a little bit of a hard time playing with the others (all girls who only speak German) but Cosette played with the other little girl just fine.
We got home late afternoon and Ash jumped on a train with Ron for a guys night out in Linz. I guess they went to the top of a very tall building where there all kinds of activities. Here are some pictures from Ron:

How high up they are...so scary....
